Education establishments are demanding and busy environments, and as a result often require high performance flooring. Oxden Floors worked closely with Kent PFI Schools framework and their 6 academies across Kent. Oxden Floors conducted the uplifting of existing flooring and prepared various classrooms and communal areas for the supply and installation of entrance matting, Hechmondwike carpet tiles and Gerfloor TARASAFE vinyl sheet. One classroom had approx. 30mm latex screed which had blown which required uplifting, and relaying using the correct primers to ensuring a good strength bond to the concrete slab.
